Pietro Maximoff, known as Quicksilver, is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) known for his superhuman speed.
He first appeared in *Avengers: Age of Ultron* (2015), portrayed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Along with his twin sister, Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch), Pietro initially allied with Ultron against the Avengers, seeking revenge for the destruction caused by Stark Industries' weapons in their homeland of Sokovia.
Quicksilver possessed the power of superhuman speed, allowing him to move, think, and react at incredible velocities. During the battle against Ultron, he sacrificed himself to save Hawkeye and a child, tragically ending his brief tenure in the MCU. The MCU version of Quicksilver never interacted with Crystal.
